Well, hello. Here I am, filling in the blanks.

I've had various DA accounts going back into the misty dawn of history (or at least 8 years), but I've never posted any artwork to any of them. I've lurked and commented and commissioned character pics from artists I've "met" here, but I've never posted art.

Why not?

Simply put, I can't draw. Someone else has to create the picture *first*. Oh, I can copy free-hand, I can colour (I was a wonder on the old "DoodleArt" posters) and I can edit computer images like nobody's business, but I...CAN'T..DRAW.

It always embarrassed me to see that I'd had people viewing my account and nothing for them to see. So now I've done something about it; now there are (a few) things to see.

Playing with 'Fabrica de Herois' is a bit more sophisticated than playing with paper dolls...or so I like to think. And for someone like me, it's a creative Godsend. I put some time and effort into my supers images, cruised the Net for suitable "accents", tinkered with them a bit in Paint Shop Pro 6, and I'm pleased with the pics I've...created? constructed? produced?

I don't know if it's art -- -- but I like it.

I also like 'Fabrica de Herois'; for a link to this friendly little program, check my Gallery notes. I do NOT, however, like Paint Shop Pro 6. I had an earlier version of PSP -- 4, I think -- and that one I *did* like, very much, but it was lost when my system got upgraded.

PSP 4 is apparently now too old a program to be available for purchase anywhere, but I really do NOT like 6; it's obviously intended more for photomanipulation than for 2D art tinkering. And I'm a comics and superheroes fan; guess which one *I* was using PSP for.

I'll post more FdH images in the future if I have 'em...but my main focus with DA is viewing other people's art, not displaying my own. Of course, if you like the FdH style, you could always create your own....
